On Tuesday, I hosted a mini-playgroup, for Gigi and just one other little boy. It lasted one hour and we had some fun. This little boy is older than Gigi however he is not as rambunctious, so they are a good fit.
Then later, Nick came home and laid down for a few because he bonked his head at work. We talked about suing the rotten SOBs he works for and concluded that since it was his fault, we would just let it go. Lucky for Medaille, huh?
I got Gigi and myself ready while Nick was recovering, because we had a party to go to!
Cousin Jon and family came up from NC to visit and Auntie Ann had a bunch of people and food to celebrate. Gigi had an amazing time. She was the only little one and family sent bunches of attention and love her way. Daddy sent bunches of beets, corn on the cob, turkey, baked beans and who-knows-what-else her way, too, and she was in her glory. There was even a dog and a little person chair for her to sit on. It's become obvious that she just loves to socialize and work a crowd.
It was nice to see everyone and it has me hoping we have a good 4th of July turnout next year!
